another new year...

no real intro to this month's snaps... except that i am often inclined to avoid the hub bub of new year's eve, not cause i'm no fun but cause it's often a let down... not necessarily for me, but in general, in the air... lot's of people forcing a good time... BUT after starting on that negative note, i had a good time and even brought a point-and-shoot camera in my cocktail bag to bring home a few shots of the evening... a little closer to home than most months (even broke my rule of never including photos of myself... a rule i've only broken three times that i can remember since this site started in dec. 95... but as with the other times, it's just a reflection so i figured no one would mind....) happy new year to you all...
