yes, that's right. we had record temperatures on sunday and what better to do than enjoy a little local entertainment: san francisco soap box car races... cars that range from oversized skate boards to an actual couch on wheels race each other down the road from the top of bernal heights. the group has mixed feelings about publicity (last year "puck" dragged the MTV realworld camera-crew up there)... but if you are interested, ask around and i'm sure you can figure out the specifics...

for me, it's definitely a favored summer activity....

good, clean fun...

good thing there were refreshments on this HOT sunday afternoon...
