the "holidays" are over, and everywhere people are chucking their christmas trees out on the sidewalk. you can go to just about any neighborhood and find them. it's weird, and reminds me a little of road kill or something. anyway, late thursday night i roamed around and shot a few of these discarded holiday icons. it was raining and dark, but maybe someone will see something in this week's collection of black and white images from the streets of san francisco...
