wanna get dressed up?

its been so busy this week you almost got another "re-run"... BUT, i squeezed it in... 5 weeks ago we visited thrift town, and i said i'd do a little comparison with a more upscale "vintage" shop... well as it turns out we're doing it in increments. on thursday i was on upper fillmore where there are several boutique-type clothing stores, some very expensive, and i had about an hour to spare so i decided to "go shopping". to my surprise, i found a store with some pretty cool stuff, but not the inflated prices like many of the other stores in the area. the selection could have been a little better, but ya gotta respect a place that tries to keep the prices down (i ended up buying two shirts, a skirt and a sweater ranging from 4.95 to 12 bucks... not bad). anyway, it's called "departures from the past" and they carry vintage styles, costumes and formal attire (they rent costumes too...) anyway, here ya go!
