for this month's snapcity episode we take a trip east an hour or so from the city to the antioch speedway. this quarter mile dirt oval was opened in 1951. it's good clean fun for the whole family (if you're into racing that is). it was opened by john soares, the same guy that runs the petaluma speedway... after the races they open the pits so you can get a close look at the cars (and the racers!). over 50 million fans visit over 1300 racing facilities every year in the u.s... are you one of them?
