another one bites the dust...

as you all know, san francisco is changing. well, this snapcity we take a look at another San francisco favorite that is no longer: hamburger mary's located south of market. they closed at the end of april and will be missed. these shots were taken during the day a few days before they closed... they had a big closing bash with free drinks and food the following monday, but i was stuck working late on a project for a client... my loss. i'm sure the photos from the party would have been a lot different as it promised to be pretty wild. they always served good food, had great ambiance, full bar, stayed open late, and everyone was welcome... i was told that the owner, who had worked at mary's since she was 17 and essentially called it home, could no longer run it and didn't want to sell it, so it's going to re-open under a new name with a new menu.
